In 2022, Ghana registered approximately 2.7 million U.S. dollars in chocolate product exports, a sharp increase from the previous year. Notably, the export of this product increased significantly in value between 2017 and 2019. Overall, in 2022, Ghana imported more products made from chocolate than it exported. Production of cocoa beans in the country has been increasing minimally.
