During the first quarter of 2022, the mobile app Immuni was downloaded **** million times by users in Italy. Immuni was launched in June 2020 as a contact tracing app, but with the introduction of the so-called "Green Pass" certification in August 2021, the app has also been serving to display proof of vaccination against COVID-19, official test results, and proof of recovery from the disease. By comparison, the mobile app IO was downloaded around **** million times during the last measured quarter.
