In an online survey conducted in the United States in November 2021, respondents were asked their opinions of instant messaging service WhatsApp. Overall, 46 percent of male respondents and 63 percent of female respondents didn't know what their opinion was or had no opinion of the messaging service. Additionally, ten percent of men and seven percent of women had a very favorable opinion of WhatsApp.
