According to a survey conducted in the United Kingdom (UK) in early 2024,** percent of children aged 12 to 15 years old engaged with news by reading, watching, or listening to it on a daily basis. Only ** perecnt of all respondents reported never accessing news, though those aged 13 and 14 years were marginally more likely to avoid news altogether than their slightly younger or older peers.
