At the end of the second quarter of 2024, the value of net assets of regulated open-end funds worldwide was highest in the Americas. Net equity assets in the Americas amounted to a value of over 21 trillion U.S. dollars, while those of exchange traded funds (ETFs) and money market funds amounted to a value of approximately 8.9 trillion and six trillion U.S. dollars, respectively. The value of equity net assets and ETFs were second-highest in Europe, at around 7.2 trillion and 1.9 trillion U.S. dollars respectively. The value of net assets of money market funds was second-highest in the Asia Pacific region, at approximately two trillion U.S. dollars.
