Canadians who think Canada should do more to reach Paris target 2021, by demographics
As a signatory of the Paris Climate Agreement, Canada has committed, among other things, to reduce emissions by percent compared to 2005 levels by 2030. While some Canadians feel this figure is too ambitious, many believe that Canada should step up its efforts to ensure that the country meets the Paris Agreement's targets. This survey from shows that women are more likely to hold this opinion, across all age groups, although there is also a trend among younger Canadians to support this view.
