The Quebec LNG/Pipeline project is a proposal to export gas from Western Canada via a pipeline across Quebec (from Abitibi to the Saguenay), and then shipped overseas via the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence River. When asked about it in March 2021, only *** percent of Quebecers said they had a very favorable attitude to the project, a drop of **** points compared to November 2020. By contrast, ** percent of Quebecers were very opposed to LNG Quebec, the largest increase of the attitudes assessed in November.
