As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, older adults in the U.S. were the greatest beneficiaries of the rise in the use of telemedicine healthcare services. Among adults aged over 46 years of age, telemedicine use was *** per 10,000 prior to the pandemic, while the rate increased to per 10,000 after the outbreak of COVID-19. This was the largest increase across all the age groups.
