According to a survey of general practitioners and patients conducted in November 2020 in selected European countries, during the COVID-19 global outbreak, more than *** in ** German general practitioners used mobile healthcare apps, while only ** percent of patients reported doing the same. Usage among patients was low also in the Netherlands, with ** percent of Dutch patients using healthcare apps, while usage among general practitioners interested almost half of all the surveyed doctors.
