As of March 2021, a total of 47 percent of Poles spent at least three hours more in front of a computer screen daily than before the coronavirus pandemic. For 70 percent of Poles, the increased screen time resulted in an overall negative impact on their eyesight condition. Sixty-two percent of respondents experienced eyestrain, whereas every fifth respondent noticed a deepening of existing eye problems.
