In France, women sometimes miss one or more days of work during their period, because of pain, or because of restricted access to menstrual protection for example. One of the ways to fight against this phenomenon would be to adjust the work environment and introduce a menstrual leave. And yet, except for right-wing supporters, French women questioned in March 2021 were a majority to approve such a measure. Left-wing supporters were ** percent in favor of this measure. This proportion dropped to ** percent among women supporting Emmanuel Macron's party, but rose to ** percent among those supporting the extreme right party.
