As of December 31, 2022, around 8,863 cases of pyrexia (fever) had been reported after receiving the Moderna vaccine against COVID-19 in Spain. Similarly to the adverse events recorded with the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine, pyrexia was on top of the list, followed by headache and myalgia, which amounted to around 4,378 and 3,412 notified cases, respectively. As of that date, more than 24 million Spikevax doses (Moderna) had been administered in the country.
