According to a survey conducted among representatives of Russian companies in 2020, the largest share of respondents, or 59 percent, stated that decisions on launching new products or implementation of innovative technologies in their companies were entirely based on management's opinion. Nearly 35 percent of the surveyed audience confirmed that R&D departments or product development teams were responsible for new product launches and innovations.
