According to a survey from January 2021, 86 percent of Finnish people said they would certainly or probably get vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19). The majority of respondents stated that they would definitely accept the vaccination or they already got it. Nine percent were not willing to get the coronavirus vaccine, but only two percent said they would definitely not get vaccinated.

Finland participates in the EU joint procurement of COVID-19 vaccines, and will receive its share based on the population. Coronavirus vaccination rollout started on December 27, 2020 with the BioNTech–Pfizer vaccine.
