According to a December 2020 survey of U.S. adults, ** percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 thought that a contact tracing app on their mobile phone to trace the spread of COVID-19 would be very effective at slowing the spread of COVID-19. Only percent of respondents in the same age group thought that contact tracing apps on their mobile phones would be very ineffective at slowing the spread of COVID-19.
