In 2023, consumption in the world's largest coffee producing country reached 21.7 million 60-kilogram bags, an increase of around eight percent in comparison to 2013. In contrast, in crop year 2017, consumption was slightly more, standing at 22 million bags, the highest value recorded during the period under consideration.
