In a postal questionnaire conducted in May and June 2020 about the stance of the Japanese population to act according to governmental requests when considering to travel in Japan, **** percent of respondents stated that they would decide based on governmental or local authority's requests and guidelines. Around **** percent of respondents stated to take governmental requests into consideration, but to ultimately decide based on their own judgement, resulting in over ** percent of respondents who were inclined or ready to listen to governmental requests.
