The annual take-up of large warehouses in Europe's six largest markets declined for the second year in a row in 2023 after peaking in 2021. In the first half of 2024, the volume of large industrial and logistics facilities transacted amounted to *** million square meters-less than half of 2023 levels. The decline reflects a weaker economic environment, but also a normalization in occupier demand.
