A survey conducted on media use during the Ramadan period in Indonesia in 2021 found that ** percent of respondents stated that they planned to use religious apps during Ramadan. However, the use of such apps would decrease during Eid, according to the respondents. The month of Ramadan usually sees an increase in religious activity by the faithful, and religious apps could help in carrying out Ramadan-specific activities such as waking up for the pre-dawn meals, breaking fast, and keeping to prayer timings.
