As a results of the coronavirus outbreak, one fifth of respondents who were surveyed on March 25, 2020 in the United States stated that they now always sanitize carts and/or baskets before using them in-store. A further 15 percent of respondents claimed that a permanent change to their shopping behavior was keeping a distance from other shoppers in stores.
