The survey results showed that 46 percent of respondents in Russia believed that Vladimir Putin should definitely or rather not participate in governing the country after the end of his presidential term in 2024. At the same time, 45 percent of Russians held the opposite view.
In July 2019, 54 percent of Russians wanted to see Vladimir Putin as their country's president after 2024.
