Ahead of the referendum on constitutional amendments in Russia, a significantly smaller share of the young population between 18 and 24 years old considered changes to their country's main legislative document rather important for them personally than in other generations. In February 2020, 35 percent of respondents from the youngest surveyed age group stated the amendments were rather not important for them.
