Dutch webshops like Coolblue, Belsimpel and My Jewellery owned 100 physical retail points in 2020. This is over **** times as much as five years earlier. In 2015, webstores had ** brick-and-mortar stores in the country. Previously only operating online, webshops are opening more physical shops in the Netherlands, mainly to distinguish themselves from the competition and to bind customers. Logistics is another reason for this development, as suppliers ask that webshops have a physical location for people to visit.
