According to the fifth version of the Olympic and Paralympic Games budget announced in December 2020 by the Tokyo Organizing Committee (TOCOG), *** billion Japanese yen were planned to be utilized for permanent facilities, which could be used after the 2020 Summer Olympics finish. In December 2020, TOCOG stated that in total *** billion Japanese yen would be used for the venue-related expenditure, which was an increase of nearly 100 billion Japanese yen compared to the previous version's estimate.
