In 2018, roughly ** percent of sexually active Belgians aged 25 to 34had been screened for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) at least once in their lifetime. Other age groups showed lower figures, such as the ** to ** age group and the ** to ** age group. In 2018, within the group aged 15 to 24 years old, one out of four Belgians had been tested for STDs at least once.
