In 2018, the level of knowledge regarding HIV and AIDS seemed to be correlated to the educational background of Belgians. Indeed, the lower the educational level, the lower the share of people with valid knowledge on HIV and AIDS. For instance, ** percent of people with primary education had valid knowledge of HIV and AIDS, whereas ** percent of people with higher education had valid knowledge. Furthermore, only Belgians who received higher education surpassed the national share of people with valid knowledge: **** percent.
