Share of women victims and men perpetrators in sexual crimes in France 2024, by type

In 2024, ** percent of the victims of rape or attempted rape recorded by the French security forces were women. The proportion of men among the perpetrators of these crimes was ** percent. Regarding sexual offenses, ** percent of the victims were women, and ** percent of the perpetrators were men. 
It should also be noted that the older the victims, the more women are represented among them.
