The greatest share of Norwegian teenagers (71 percent) participating in social media modelling in 2019, stated that they wished they were thinner, in terms of body weight. The figure was higher among girls than boys, reaching as much as 81 percent of all female participants. Those who had wished they were thicker were seven percent. 41 percent of the respondents wished they were more muscular.
