"Digital literacy is measured as an index consisting of five components.
Information literacy is an ability to find necessary data on the internet, to work with various types of data, and to assess credibility of messages on the web.
The indicator of digital content creation demonstrates competences in creating and editing digital content, skills in working with copyright on the web.
Digital security shows skills to assess risks of social engineering and online fraud while working in a digital sphere, knowledge of measures to provide safety of personal data as well as the understanding of the negative influence that digital devices have on the environment and a physical and psychological human health.
Communication literacy skills include the ability to use different sorts of online services and electronic devices and to follow communication norms online."
The statistical error does not exceed 3.4 percent. The index is expressed as a score out of a possible 100 points.
