The last couple of years podcasts have been the audio medium to look out for. And while podcasts have rapidly found their way into the ears and hearts of consumers around the world and have established themselves as a format to stay, the extraordinary boom might be about to fizzle out. According to a study from 2022 in the United States, the term 鈥榯op podcast鈥 was searched over 63 percent less compared to previous years, indicating the overall trend, that while podcasts are here to stay the market might be slowing down. However, for now, podcasts still have a significant reach, with 40 percent of U.S. adults tuning in on a monthly basis.
