Even though the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic's effect on customer behavior in Russia has been gradually fading out, shifts in preferences and spending budget are noticeable to date. While households spent more on food and utilities, a significant drop was reported for leisure activities such as cinema, restaurants, and travel. All in all, in 2021, roughly 30 to 50 percent of Russians anticipated decreasing their spending over the coming year.
