With more than 60 million inhabitants and more than half of the population using the internet, Central America has the potential to reach a vast number of consumers online. Figures seem to indicate that although slowly, buying products and services through the web has already gained popularity in this region. Guatemala and El Salvador have particularly capitalized on this trend, topping the list of Central American countries with the fastest growing e-commerce in 2021.
