The United States is a global leader in digital transformation, with organizations across the country embracing emerging technologies as a key driver of growth. The U.S. is a hub of technological innovation, not least in artificial intelligence, and is benefitting from expanding next-generation digital infrastructure. These strengths placed the U.S. fourth in a 2024 digital competitiveness ranking, behind Singapore, Switzerland, and Denmark. Crucially, a majority of U.S. organizations are now reporting a tangible return on investments in core technologies such as AI, analytics, and XaaS (anything as a service). However, business leaders have also looked to established guardrails for investment, with concerns around cybersecurity and data privacy on the rise.
