Music industry and consumption in Brazil - statistics & facts
Brazil is the driving market for the music industry in Latin America. While the entire region saw music revenue growth of more than 19 percent in 2023, Brazil’s recorded music revenue growth accounted for 69 percent of the Latin American’s figure that year. Diving deeper into the data, it becomes evident it is evident that digital formats were the main contributor to Brazil reaching double digits in 2023. Digital music revenue, which largely consists of streaming, is responsible for 87 percent of total recorded music industry profits in Brazil.
