Europe's payment landscape varies greatly per country, and the same can be said for the three neighboring countries in the Benelux region. This report provides graphs and tables on the use of different payment methods available in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. It is meant to provide a general overview, how consumers in the three countries use cash money, credit and/or debit cards, contactless payments, mobile payments as well as P2P payment apps, and mention domestic competitors that exist in no other European country.
