This report provides an overview of the presidential elections of October 2022 in Brazil. Firstly, it includes statistical data on the electoral context, such as public interest in the elections, voting intention of different demographic groups, and the presidents with the most impeachment requests. The second and third chapters address the results of the first and second rounds, respectively. After a chapter on Bolsonaro's' approval rates and another one on political and social opinions of Brazilians, the report ends with a focus on the role of fake news, political information and social media in the elections.
