In 2023, the total energy subsidies in Indonesia amounted to  trillion Indonesian rupiah and for 2024, the Indonesian government would have provided a targeted value of around trillion Indonesian rupiah in energy subsidies. This indicates a continuous increase from 2021 where around trillion Indonesian rupiah were provided.
