Maxeda DIY Group (formally Vendex KBB) is a Dutch retail group that operates do it yourself stores Praxis, Brico and BricoPlanit in the Benelux region (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) and is led by American private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR). The former chains of Maxeda, e.g., HEMA and Bijenkorf were sold to other investment groups between 2007 and 2010. As of 2023/24, the number of stores of Maxeda DIY Group amounted to ***, of which *** were Praxis stores (Netherlands) and *** Brico (Belgium and Luxembourg).
