In general, production includes the quantities consumed by the producer during the production as well as any quantities supplied to other on-site producers of energy for transformation or other uses."

This graph displays the solid fuels production in the European Union in 2016, by country, in million metric tons of oil equivalent. Poland was by the biggest producer of solid fuels energy, at Mtoe. This was followed by Germany, with the remaining countries producing significantly less.
