As of February 2024, ** percent of the internet users surveyed in Argentina aged 55 years and over stated that they accessed news on WhatsApp. Among respondents from the 18-24 age group, the share stood below ** percent. The reliance on Facebook as a news source in Argentina was also lower among internet users aged 18 to 24.
