According to a survey carried out in 2021 the lack of support from the government was considered the main barrier to the adoption of sustainable and healthy lifestyles by consumers in Brazil, with ** percent of respondents. The second most named difficulty for that purpose had to do with the cost of such lifestyle, with nearly half of respondents saying that it is expensive. Also nearly half of Brazilian respondents considered that there was not enough support from the companies to adopt sustainable and healthy practices.
