The survey outcomes indicate that among the supermarkets considered, Aldi had the highest market share of certified sustainable chocolate spread in 2016. One hundred percent of the chocolate spread available in Aldi supermarkets was certified with an organic, Fair-trade or Rainforest Alliance label, whereas over * of the chocolate spreads available in Makro were certified in the same year.
