Average premiums are weighted by enrollment (March of the respective year) and exclude employer group plans and Special Needs Plans. The average premium for MA-PDs is for Part D drug coverage only; the average total MA-PD premium, including Part C and Part D benefits, is higher ($21.18 in 2021).
