This survey illustrates the share of individuals that had savings in Russia as of 2017, by reason for saving. It can be seen that the majority of individuals (** percent) stated that they save incase it is needed in the future, a further ** percent stated that they save for large purchases such as cars or vacations. In this year ** percent of individuals surveyed stated that they saved in order to receive income from interest rates.
