Share of first preference votes won in London mayoral elections 2004-2024
In the 2024 London mayoral elections, the Labour Party won the highest share of first preference votes at 44 percent, ahead of the Conservative Party on 33 percent. During this time period, the Labour Party have won the highest share of votes in most years, with the two exceptions being 2008, and 2012 when the Mayoral elections were won by Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party.
