This statistic shows the average days of payment delay in the business to business (B2B) sector in Belgium from 2009 to 2018. As of 2018, payment delays would reach an average of approximately **** days. Flanders, Wallonia and the Brussels Capital Region offer different kinds of investment aids to assist Belgian or foreign businesses in the region. Many of these measures are aimed at starter businesses or self-employed. One example of this is the so-called Participation Fund (in Dutch: participatiefonds/in French: fonds de participation), a federal public institution offering different loans for both small and medium-sized companies and self-employed.
