This statistic shows the credit utilization rate of start-ups in construction in Belgium from 2014 to 2018, by region. The credit utilization rate is the amount of revolving credit a company uses divided by the total amount of revolving credit it has available. In essence, it shows a company's degree of use of credit facilities. For example, a utilization rate of ** percent means a company already uses ** percent of its credit available at the bank. Loaning another ** percent should therefore not be a problem. The closer a company comes to a 100 percent, though, the less financial breathing space the company has. In December 2018, start-ups in construction from the Brussels Capital Region reached a credit utilization rate of approximately ** percent.
