The output of hydroelectric power in July 2025 in China was more than terawatt-hours. Over the past three years, the hydroelectric power generation had been relatively stable on a year-on-year basis, despite being subjected to heavy seasonal fluctuations. The output volume peaked in July of every year and then decreased until it reached its minimum between December and March. The reason could be the climate in many regions in China is drier during the winter months.
