Kakao Story is a social networking service for KakaoTalk users to share photos with friends. In South Korea, KakaoTalk is the most commonly used mobile instant messaging application for smartphone users.
Naver Band is a mobile community application that facilitates group communication. It was created by a subsidiary of Naver Corporation, which has operated the biggest search engine in South Korea.
Since 2011, KISDI has tracked the cross-media usage of 5,000 households and the members by means of household visits, interviews and self-reported written media diary on the media use patterns across 17 cities and provinces in South Korea.
