Data includes removals by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the responsibility of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Removals are the compulsory movement of an inadmissible or deportable alien out of the U.S. by an order of removal. Returns are the movement of an inadmissible or deportable alien out of the U.S. without an order of removal. Data includes both administrative and enforcement returns.
